Loved the beautiful grounds and helpful staff. However, the noisy area might disturb light sleepers. Free bike rentals were a fun touch!

Our stay at Ubad Retreat Hotel was quite disappointing despite its potential. the location is rather isolated, making it difficult to access nearby attractions without incurring expensive taxi fares. Additionally, we experienced inconsistent service when trying to order food, as some staff struggled to understand our requests, leading to incorrect meals being delivered multiple times.

The property is surrounded by lush greenery, providing a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Spacious rooms come equipped with a fridge, ideal for keeping drinks cool during your stay.
My first room had a bathroom that could use a thorough cleaning. Water pressure in the second room's shower was uneven, which made for a frustrating experience. Breakfast choices were limited. adding something like pancakes would be a nice touch.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped, providing a peaceful retreat after exploring the vibrant surroundings. The staff are exceptionally friendly, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. I particularly enjoyed the free shuttle service, which made accessing the local attractions very convenient.
The area around the hotel can be slightly noisy until 10 pm, which might disturb light sleepers.

Recommend it for solo travelers
Had a blast with the family running the place! They were super accommodating, let me check-in early after a long trip, and even helped with a bike rental that was in good shape.
It wasn’t the cheapest place, but the experience was worth every penny.

Had an awesome stay with my friends! The family vibe made us feel right at home. We took the shuttle to the Ayung River and the Sacred Monkey Forest, both a blast. Breakfast was delicious, especially the local dishes. The staff was super helpful with recommendations.
One minor downside was the internet connection, which wasn't always strong. It may depend on how many guests were online.
